CACHANILLA

Cachanilla — a word for people from the Mexicali Valley, the border corridor between California and Baja California. This ongoing series documents the faces and streets of a region that exists between two nations and belongs entirely to itself."

RESTOS

Restos — remnants. The structures left behind when people leave and time advances. Slab City, Bombay Beach, Vulture City, Desert Center. The Southwest is full of places that were something once and are becoming something else.

CALLEJERO

Callejero — of the streets. A word for someone who belongs to sidewalks and corners, to storefronts and intersections. An eye-level series of unposed moments caught in cities, barrios, and border towns before they disappear.
